Ellie Hsu

Artist member since 2022

Ellie Hsu is a Taiwanese-Canadian illustrator based in Toronto. She values living in true essence and finds inspiration in the mundane yet bizarre aspects of life and nature. With an abundant use of colour and mixed media techniques, Ellie embraces the complex and nebulous human mind in its fragile state. With a touch of innocence and whimsy rooted in sentiment for the past, the subjects of her pieces question the nature of reality and bring to light the possibility that one's subconscious and distorted memories could alter the truth they seek.
